A little easy, breezy kerchief. I find them quite beautiful on little girls.
I first got the idea for these kerchiefs from Carefree Clothes for Girls. But this simple kerchief doesn't need a pattern or much instruction. It basically is a long triangle with extended edges sewn closed to then be tied close under a little girl's hair. You can embellish, add lace, and such. They are quite fun to make, whip up in minutes, and keep hair off of faces all summer.
Here are a few easy tutorials:
- a 5 minute kerchief
- neckerchief tutorial--this is the same idea of a kerchief but used as a drool trapper for babies!

I'm looking forward to next week's Let's Talk discussion and a new summer snack to share that we've been enjoying all week here. Something you and your kids could make and enjoy together. See you Monday!
