projects revisited: a highchair mat

I can't help put share another vinyl project this week from my archives after sharing the vinyl art aprons.  I love vinyl.  But you already knew that.

Why can't something aesthetic marry functionality?  I love this simple high chair mat because the fabric is so much cooler than store-bought, plastic mats, I think.

It is vinyl sewn onto heavier weight cotton fabric.  It catches food and still looks ultra mod in your kitchen.  I bought those non-slip stickers meant for ironing onto socks to put onto the back of my high chair mat to keep it put.  Their still in my sewing drawer, but I would recommend doing it.  I bought them at a crafts store.

See the original post here, back when my babes were real babes!

And what are you up to this weekend?  I'm hoping to swim at my in-law's and finish Caroline's doll she's been begging me to finish.  All in good time.  Happy weekend!
