This weekend I successfully fooled my kids with a little backup valentine plan. Due to the illnesses last week, our valentines we've talked about for the last month happened too late for the little valentine party we were invited to. In steps the prophetic mama. I was so in love with these adorable valentines from Lily Jane Stationery (the designer, a friend from college, too) that I happened to order some a few weeks back.
Quite easily the best valentines in-a-crunch with just a signature and possible scribble to make before passing to a friend.
I knew all too well that as we were getting well, the girls wouldn't let me off the hook from making our original valentines.
Let me just say that these edible valentines were a lengthy process. One that meant me staying up past my bedtime to finish "dipping" the last batch. I know, it is all so exciting--well, at least for us who have carefully accounted for every edible valentine, hoping that we miscalculated and there are actually a lot leftover.
More on that tomorrow.
So here's to a new exciting week on the Sleepy Time Gal. I have some exciting adventures coming as well. I hope you have a lovely day. (And enjoy going out or staying in with your loved one. Bobby, remember me here with the kids??)
