father's day prep

I have felt an incredible feeling of sisterhood after yesterday's discussion and all of your heart felt comments.  Thank you for opening up and letting us all feel united.

The girls have been helping me assemble little Father's Day booklets to give to the children in church on Sunday.  The children will draw or write what they love about their daddies.  I've been trying to think ahead of what might be meaningful for Bobby this Sunday from me and the girls.

Do you have any Father's Day traditions? Caroline wants us to make a slideshow of all the photos of her with Daddy.  Johanna wants to give Daddy a peanut (her usual response).  Nothing quite beats what Bobby made for me two Mother's Days ago.  It puts a smile on my face every time I see it.

When I really think about it, though, Bobby would probably be most happy with everyone piling up on him with lots of giggles and slobbery kisses.

What special things are you doing on Father's Day?
